Cooking Matters is helping families in Colorado to shop and eat healthier. In partnership with SNAP-Ed, Share Our Strength’s Cooking Matters teaches participants to shop smarter.
Maine SNAP-Ed has successfully worked with childcare centers and adult community centers to encourage healthy beverage policies that promote water for meals and snacks.
In schools, DINE is a curriculum series that includes lessons, activities, healthy food tastings, and cooking demonstrations/classes. Nutritionists encourage Policy, Systems, and Environmental (PSE)s and collaborate with school gardens.
