When are Strawberries in Season?

Strawberries are grown in every state in the United States, one of the most popular small fruits found in home gardens, and usually the first fruit to ripen in the springtime. Ripe strawberries will be fully red, firm, and have a sweet smell. Add strawberries to smoothies, yogurt, salads, and water.

Fun fact: An average strawberry has about 200 seeds on the outside.
