When is Rhubarb in Season?

  • Spring

Rhubarb stalks are found in a variety of colors – from light green to a dark red. Rhubarb has a tart flavor. Choose stalks that are not limp or curled. Add rhubarb to a sauce, compote, jam, crumble, or crisp.

Fun fact: Rhubarb needs cold temperatures to produce stalks and only grows when the temperature is less than 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
