Radishes

radishes with their green tops in a bowl

When are Radishes in Season?

  • Spring
  • Fall

Radishes are found in a variety of colors and sizes. Fresh radishes have a peppery flavor and are great on top of a salad, adding a pop of crunch and a little spice. Roast radishes in the oven to create a milder, almost nutty flavor. Store radishes in the refrigerator in a plastic bag loosely tied or knotted until ready to use.

Fun fact: Radishes only take about 25 days to grow from seed to an edible plant.
