When are Mangos in Season?

  • Summer
  • Fall

Mangos are a tropical fruit that has a large flat seed in the center. Look for mangos that are slightly soft when lightly squeezed. When cutting the mango, slice into two halves leaving the pit in the center slice. Add to smoothies, salsas, muffins, and salads.

Fun fact: Like other fruits such as apples and bananas, mangos continue to ripen after being picked.
