When are Lima Beans in Season?

Lima beans are a legume typically found in stores as dried, canned, or frozen varieties. Dried lima beans should be soaked before cooking. Add lima beans to soups, stews, and salads.
Fun fact: Lima beans are also called “butter beans” due to their buttery taste when cooked.
