When is Broccoli in Season?

  • Spring
  • Fall

While green is the most familiar color of broccoli, purple and white varieties also exist. Store broccoli in the refrigerator until ready to use. Broccoli can be served raw, roasted, steamed or boiled. Add broccoli to casseroles, salads, stir-fries or added to pasta dishes.

Fun fact: The florets on broccoli are buds ready to bloom. If left unharvested, broccoli will burst into a bunch of yellow flowers.
