When are Blueberries in Season?

  • Summer

A single blueberry bush can produce over 6,000 blueberries each year! Blueberries are ripe when they are picked and kept in the refrigerator for up to two weeks for the best flavor. Blueberries are great when added to salads, yogurt, cereals, oatmeal, and pancakes.

Fun fact: Add a little lemon juice to baked goods to enhance the blue color.
