Blackberries are dark purple juicy berries packed with a sweet-tart flavor perfect for snacking or adding to salads, smoothies, or desserts. Choose plump, shiny berries and store them in the refrigerator for a few days.
Fun fact: Each bump is a fruit, or “drupelet” containing its own seed.
