SNAP-Ed Toolkit - Strategies & Interventions

New Submissions

Interested in submitting your intervention? Visit the SNAP-Ed Toolkit submission page to find forms, important dates, and submission review training resources. Interventions are peer-reviewed annually and added to the Toolkit if they are found to be evidence-based for use in SNAP-Ed programs.

The SNAP-Ed Toolkit

The SNAP-Ed Toolkit is a collection of evidence-based interventions. You can search through the different categories and filters to find what you need. This Toolkit is only a partial list of interventions that are used in SNAP-Ed.

The SNAP-Ed Evaluation Framework and Interpretive Guide is also available on the SNAP-Ed Toolkit site.

All interventions in this Toolkit were reviewed in a collaboration between

  • USDA's Food and Nutrition Service (FNS)
  • The Association of SNAP Nutrition Education Administrators (ASNNA)
  • National Collaborative on Childhood Obesity Research (NCCOR), a partnership between the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes of Health, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the United States Department of Agriculture.
