Sweet and simple, this warm and cozy dessert is the perfect end to a fall or winter meal.
Makes 4 servings.
4 pears (medium)
3/4 cup orange juice (100%)
4 teaspoons sugar
- Peel the pears and cook in a double boiler for 15 minutes.
- Mix sugar and orange juice and cook over low flame for 5 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes.
- Place steamed pears on individual plates. Pour ¼ juice mixture over each and serve.
