More kids across Kansas are being physically active during school since receiving a Physical Activity Bundle. Kids are learning healthy habits and how to have fun with physical activity, thanks to the Kansas SNAP-Ed program.

The state uses the Program Evaluation and Reporting System (PEARS) to gather evaluation data. Using PEARS, Kansas SNAP-Ed professionals can select or build evaluation instruments specific to the needs of each program they deliver, enter program information and response data, and access various reporting features.

Families visiting the Ark City Farm and Art Market and Walnut Valley Farmers Market can now bring home more healthy food! The Cowley Farmers Market Association (CFMA) launched the Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) program in 2021 thanks to the leadership of the Family Consumer Science and SNAP-Ed Agent, Becky Reid and Nutrition Educator, Ruth Bumgarter! SNAP recipient users can double their benefits up to $25 per market visit in extra tokens to be used only for locally grown fruits and vegetables.

In Kansas, the Walk With Ease (WWE) program is transforming lives by helping sedentary adults across the state, particularly those in low-resource communities, integrate physical activity into their routines.
