Let’s Cook! Peña Blanca

Peña Blanca is a part of our larger Kids Cook! (KC!) programming into these rural communities. The programs serve low income families at an after school program at the Peña Blanca Inter-generational Community Center.

Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR)

May 14, 2018 Youth-led Participatory Action Research (YPAR) has changed the after-school programs at the YMCA of Honolulu. Teens are now engaged in identifying solutions to the issues they see in their communities.  The approach has built leadership among several dozen teens.
