That’s Me: My Choices is a short survey that is valid and reliable for use in SNAP-Ed programs to assess food behaviors of children (grades 3 and higher). The development process included three phases. Phase 1: Survey Development (2009-10): Identifying the purpose, target group and constructs; expert review/content validity; concurrent validity; test/retest reliability, and student review. Decision points are summarized at the end of the section. Phase 2: Pilot testing in schools (2010-11): The revised tool was used with thousands of students throughout the state to examine its performance. Phase 3: Impact Evaluation: Quasi-Experimental Design (2012-13): Use of a quasi-experimental design to identify impact of the PE-Nut program using That’s Me: My Choices as the measurement tool.
