SNAP-Ed Connection Comments

The 12-week curriculum enables caregivers to teach preschoolers to try new foods and be physically active. It is based on seven tips for parents and teachers: fun, food exposure, role modeling, choice, learning, how to offer, and avoid force. There are also training options available.

Fun with New Foods and Get Movin' with Mighty Moves bi-lingual home connection materials are included in the kit and are also available for subsequent purchase. After purchasing the kit one time, the kit can be used repeatedly by re-purchasing the home connection materials.

The physical activity components were not reviewed for accuracy or safety.
