This kit includes two complimentary components. Captain 5 A Day and his dog Boneso use music and movement, crafts, tasting activities and take-home parent letters to encourage fruit and vegetable intake, building strong bones and physical activity. The Supermarket Smarts component targets parents, and uses a video and workbook to discuss shopping and budgeting for fruits and vegetables.
