SNAP-Ed is celebrating 30 years since the launch of the program in 1992, when seven states first conducted nutrition education using federal funds. Today, the program reaches individuals, groups, and organizations in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Virgin Islands, and Guam. A network of 166 implementing agencies leverages approximately 33,290 local partnerships to deliver the program using evidence-based projects and interventions. Learn more about the 30th Anniversary and download materials at the SNAP-Ed 30th Anniversary Communications Toolkit.
