The Guidance document provides policy guidance for States regarding the operation of the SNAP Nutrition Education and Obesity Prevention Grant Program, referred to as SNAP-Ed. This Guidance supersedes all previous Guidance.
The Checklist forEvidence-Based Approachesand the Checklist forPublic Health Approacheswere developed by the Western Region and are used by some other Regions. They provide detailed descriptions, steps, and examples that may assist States as they consider approaches for delivery ofnutrition education and obesity prevention services. 1. SNAP-Ed Management Evaluation Guide for State Agencies This checklist is used to review SNAP-Ed Programs duringManagement Evaluationsof aState agency (SA)and may be helpful to States during the Plan development process.
2.SNAP-Ed Management Evaluation Guide for Implementing Agencies This checklist is used to review SNAP-Edimplementing agencyprogramming during Management Evaluations. This may be helpful to States andimplementing agencies during planning, or forState agenciesduring their monitoring ofimplementing agency programming.
